Ed Coleman announced during a 20:20 on WFAN that Carlos Gomez was sent to NY for an MRI. Gomez got injured during last night's game. David Newhan has been called up to take Gomez's spot on the roster.

    In case you can't remember, Paul Lo Duca, received a two game suspension for is tirade on the field during the game against the Oakland A's. Lo Duca was upset about two called strikes on him by Marvin Hudson. Lo Duca argued and argued some more. Finally Hudson threw Lo Duca out of the game. Lo Duca than argued more and than threw all of his equipment onto the field. He received a 2 game suspension, but appealed it. Now the hearing will be held Friday.

Jason Vargas was sent down to AAA New Orleans. Sandy Alomar Jr. was called up.

Just heard on SNY Daily News Live! Chris Cotter said that Paul Lo Duca will serve the 2 game suspension. Lo Duca will sit out tonight and tomorrow.
