Yesterday when I was by the game they put on Sweet Caroline in the Middle of the 8th inning and fans reaction was crazy they love the song. (or maybe just singing it.) Everybody around me liked it. The Cardinal fans were also singing along. I do not see the big problem with it. So the Red Sox use it. Yippee. Every other team with a mascot stole the idea of a mascot from the Mets. Mr. Met was the first mascot in MLB history. Is anyone complaining about that? I don't hear any body complaining about the braves mascot, Homer.
I Think people are making a big deal out of nothing. It's just like making a big deal about YANKEES SUCK! chants. Let them play Sweet Caroline. People like it. Who Cares! Just Enjoy The Game!
